UCLA Food Studies Graduation Illustration

I was commissioned to create an illustration celebrating UCLA’s Food Studies program. This piece highlights food, farming, and the deep-rooted traditions of California native foods, all grounded in the Los Angeles landscape and the ancestral homeland of the Tongva people. I illustrated a vibrant landscape growing atop a graduation cap worn by the iconic UCLA Bruin Bear.
